"Hi, I'm Claudia, co founder of Floor Seventeen. I've been in the industry for over 13 years, and I still get a bit teary when I see an idea actually come to life. "I'm a problem solver at heart. Give me a brief and my brain immediately starts running through every possible way to make it bigger, better, more memorable. Sometimes a little too big, if I'm honest.

My team will tell you the budget is often the only thing that brings me back down to earth. The word "no" doesn't really sit well with me. If something feels impossible, I'll dig until I find the angle that makes it work, because nine times out of ten, it does.
That's the energy I built Floor Seventeen on, and it's still how we approach every brief that comes through the door.

Outside of work, my world is my two kids. When I'm not on site or in planning mode, that's where you'll find me, and I think being a mom has only made me more resourceful. Anyone who's wrangled a toddler's bedtime routine can handle a last minute venue change.

"Cables, cues, and changeovers. Twenty five years in, and I still love the moment everything clicks into place exactly on time.

"I'm the person who gets genuinely excited about logistics, which I know makes me a bit of an odd one. The nitty gritty of operations, the technical detail, the behind the scenes machinery that makes events run like clockwork, that's my happy place. If you're at one of our events, I'm probably the one on headset, having far too much fun making sure everything happens exactly when it should.

With over 25 years across AV, technical production, staging, and lighting, I've worked on activations and events for some of the world's most recognisable brands.

At Floor Seventeen, that experience means we approach every event from both sides at once, the big idea and the technical reality of pulling it off, so nothing gets lost between the concept and the execution. Whatever you throw at us, chances are we've already solved something like it before.

When I'm not on site, you'll probably find me on a golf course working on a handicap that isn't improving nearly as fast as I'd like. Some problems, it turns out, are harder to solve than others.
